Party Wall Awards
To enable a building owner to carry out specific works on or adjacent to adjoining property, the Party Wall etc Act 1996 must be follow, to allow the adjoining owner a level of protection throughout the works. A notice must be served by the building owner on the adjoining owner in accordance with the procedures set out in the Party Wall etc Act 1996.
We can act on behalf either the building owner or the adjoining owner. We will first give advice to our client in relation to party wall obligations under the 1996 Act, then we will develop and finalise Party Wall Awards, while carrying out interim and final inspections.
